1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4

At the 1971 Geneva Salon, Ferrari introduced the 365 GTC/4, the latest in an evolution of grand touring coupes. With a body designed and built by Pininfarina, the 365 GTC/4 was powered by a development of the Daytona's 4.4 liter V-12 that utilized sidedraft carburetors, allowing for a lower hood line. In production for only 18 months, the 365 GTC/4 was produced in a modest quantity of just 500 examples, with research suggesting only 67 examples were produced in RHD making this model exeedingly rare. Chassis 16127 Delivered new in February 1973 to Singapore specified in Bianco Polo Park over Nero hide. The GTC/4 resided in Hong Kong over the following 14 years, and it is important to note that the car's exorbitant first-registration tax in Hong Kong (roughly 135 per cent of the car's value) has already been paid, offering a significant savings to any buyers interested in returning the car to Hong Kong. In early 1987, the Hong Kong-based dealer Italian Motors Ltd purchased the car and subsequently treated her to a substantial restoration. In addition to a mechanical overhaul, the exterior was finished in the historical shade of Blu Ribot. Soon thereafter the 365 was sold to Dr. Ross Connell of Hong Kong, a dedicated member of the local Ferrari Owner's Club, and he regularly returned the car to Italian Motors for servicing. In 1994 Dr. Connell exported the GTC/4 to the United Kingdom, and five years later he sold the car to a fellow Ferrari enthusiast based in the UK. Since coming to the UK chassis no. 16127 has been maintained by marque specialists, carefully garaged and serviced as needed, and used most notebly in the Ferrari Classic Cavalcades in 2018 and 2019.
